Nick Grainger is a 400-meter freestyle specialist from Great Britain. Standing at 6’8’’, you certainly notice Nick standing behind the blocks. Nick trains under the guidance of Russ Barber in the UK. In 2014, Nick had a successful year making his International swimming debut, and as a real testament to his character, Nick also fractured his spine. After recovering from injury, in 2015 we saw Nick compete in the 400-meter freestyle at the FINA World Championships at a young 21 years of age. Nick was also a crucial member of the British 4×200-meter freestyle relay team in Kazan, taking home a Gold medal for his preliminary swim. Nick will no doubt be a key member of the British team come the 2016 Olympic Games.
