Anthony Ervin is one of the most unique, yet electrifying swimmers in the world. Known around the swimming world for having a “natural feel for the water”, Anthony won the gold medal in the 50-meter freestyle at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. He retired two years later at the young age of 21, but returned twelve years later and finished 5th at the 2012 Olympic Games in his signature event. Anthony, a graduate of University of California-Berkeley, has won an impressive 9 international medals. Anthony won two gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in the 50-meter freestyle and the 4×100-meter freestyle relay.  His gold in the 50-meter freestyle made him the oldest individual gold medalist in swimming since 1904
